Hi friends, I'm A. R. Dow!

A. R. Dow's first book, a short Murder Mystery, debuted in April 2025, and immediately she was hooked by the publishing process. She has been an avid reader for the majority of her life and had never thought of writing her own stories. However, when she had a major life change after the start of 2025, she decided to take a chance on herself. As soon as she opened the figurative door to the possibility, the ideas flooded in. With a very short conversation with her incredibly supportive husband, and a few friends, she dove in head-first.

A. R. lives in Northern Colorado with her husband, Yorkshire Terrier, and their very large cat. When she isn't working on her next literary project she can be found baking, crocheting, reading, or traveling. Her favorite reads are twisty thrillers, literary classics, and dark fantasies with a lot of adventure. She grew up reading authors like JRR Tolkien, Ellen Hopkins, Emily Bronte, and everyone in between.

A. R. Dow and her husband both have careers in the arts, and live their lives surrounded by music, food, books, and amazingly talented people. They were married in the spring of 2025, two weeks before her debut released, which she jokingly doesn't recommend doing at the same time. As a couple they prioritize creativity, humor, and kindness and feel very blessed they both get to pursue their dreams.
